HI, I'M ESTELLE!
A twenty-something-year-old from Aberdeenshire, Scotland and a YA author . . . until now! I’m so excited to share with you my latest (and tenth, eeek!) novel, SOMEWHERE IN THE SUNSET. It’s my very first foray into the world of new adult romance. Writing books in this genre was an inevitable progression as I’ve grown older, and although it was scary at first, I now know that this type of fiction is exactly what I want to write! It’s not too different from penning stories about teens finding their way in the world, because even in our twenties, most of us are still figuring our lives out. Does anyone have their life together at twenty-two?! My new favourite characters certainly don’t! SOMEWHERE IN THE SUNSET is the story of two broken-hearted singletons, Gracie and Weston, whose lives clash during a club brawl one summer’s night in downtown San Francisco. Gracie’s just had the rug pulled from under her feet after being dumped by her long-term boyfriend and high school sweetheart, and Weston’s realising just how much he loved his girlfriend a moment too late. Although they initially connect over their similar situations, a bond quickly grows, leading them to become so much more than new friends helping each other through a tough time. I hope SOMEWHERE IN THE SUNSET sounds like something you will love and thank you so much for taking the time to read and review. It means the world to me. |
